Vaccine and Booster

All students, faculty and staff are eligible to receive the bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine. Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the newly authorized bivalent booster targets new variants of the virus, offering more protection heading into the fall and winter seasons.

Gatton Student Center

Dates/Times: Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Where: The Apothecary, now open on the ground floor in the Gatton Student Center across from the Cats Den

Walk-up only, no appointment is necessary

Please bring:

  • Your CDC COVID card (if applicable)
  • Student/employee ID
  • Any insurance cards

Report Your Shot and Get a UK Hat

Students and employees can self-report their COVID-19 vaccine and receive a FREE UK baseball cap, pictured on this page. Pickup location and times are listed below.  

Where: Outside Blue Box Theater in Gatton Student Center

When: Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Oct. 3 - 7 will be the last week to pick up a cap)

How: Bring your student ID to verify your identity and claim your cap!

Get Your Shot and Receive a FREE meal

  • Any UK student or employee who receives a COVID-19 vaccine (any dose) at the UK Retail Pharmacy location in Gatton Student Center will receive a single-use voucher for a FREE meal swipe at Champions Kitchen or The Fresh Food Company.
  • Must present your student or employee ID at the time of vaccination.
  • First come, first serve for the first 2,000 individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
